Risograph prints online, previewed before you order

Riso Print Studio is a print-on-demand risograph service where you upload your own photo, watch it render as a real riso print in your browser (halftone dots, ink grain, and overprinting included), choose your ink colors and paper, then have it printed on an actual Risograph and mailed to you.

What is risograph printing?

Risograph printing is a stencil-based process closer to screenprinting than to a home printer. Each ink color prints as a separate pass through the machine, and where colors overlap they mix through overprinting. The result is a grainy, tactile, layered look that digital printing cannot reproduce, which is exactly why people love it.

Why people choose riso

  • Analog character: visible halftone texture and color you can feel on the page.
  • Tactile ink on paper: soy-based inks sit on the sheet with real depth.
  • Gentle on the planet: soy inks and a heat-free, low-energy process make it one of the lower-impact ways to print in color.

How it works

  1. Choose up to three ink colors from the available riso palette.
  2. Upload your photo and see it rendered as a live risograph simulation.
  3. Pick your size and paper, and fine-tune the look.
  4. Add to cart and check out. We print it on a real riso and mail it to you.
